DESCRIPTION:TMAC’s Lean Six Sigma Program provides a systematic approach to dramatically improve cost\, quality\, and delivery. The course combines the strengths of today’s two most powerful business initiatives\, Lean and Six Sigma\, into one integrated program. \n\n\n\nThe DMAIC process provides the overarching structure for project management\, helping ensure solutions are sustainable. Students learn through a combination of lecture\, student project presentations\, exercises\, case studies\, and simulations. Experienced instructors emphasize practical application of tools and provide coaching on student projects. \n\n\n\nSchedule: \n\n\n\nWeek 1: February 8-12 \n\n\n\nWeek 2: March 8-12 \n\n\n\nPrice: $3\,400\n\n\n\n*** group discounts available *** \n\n\n\nREGISTER HERE\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt is a 2 week class (1 week every month for 2 consecutive months). \n\n\n\nWeekly Class Times (Subject to change at instructor’s discretion) \n\n\n\nMonday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nFriday: 8:00 a.m. – Noon (or until weekly exam is complete) \n\n\n\n**Includes a mid-day break for students to enjoy a catered lunch daily \n\n\n\nRequirements: \n\n\n\n• Laptop computer with SigmaXL software \n\n\n\nSoftware is included in the price of registration & access codes will be distributed one week before class \n\n\n\n• Students strongly encouraged to have a project within their company \n\n\n\nPre-Requisites: \n\n\n\n\nBasic understanding of statistics\, such as averages\, variation\, percentages\, and simple charts.\n\n\n\nFamiliarity with Excel or similar data-analysis tools is recommended.\n\n\n\nPractical work experience in a business\, manufacturing\, engineering\, quality\, operations\, or service environment is beneficial.\n\n\n\n\nREGISTER TODAY\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClass held at The University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute (UTARI).
